Long Lake Ltd. respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you visit longlakeltd.com, ask about a home or community, subscribe to updates, interact with our advertising, or otherwise contact us. It also explains the choices and rights that may be available to you. 

Information We Collect 

The information we collect depends on how you use the website. 

• Information you provide. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, relationship to a home inquiry, expected purchase timeline, preferred areas, communities or home plans, newsletter subscription, and information you enter in a free-text field. 

• Website and device information. We and our service providers may collect IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP address, dates and times, interactions, and advertising or analytics identifiers. 

• Security and spam prevention. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish people from bots. It processes technical signals such as IP address and browser information. Other active security and spam-prevention tools may process technical information and submitted content to detect abuse. 

• Communications and transaction-related information. If you communicate with a sales counselor or proceed with a home purchase, we may maintain correspondence and records needed to respond, administer the relationship, and comply with legal obligations. A lender or other third party may collect financing information under its own privacy notice. Do not submit Social Security numbers, bank information, medical information, or other sensitive information through a general website inquiry form. 

How We Use Information 

• Respond to inquiries about homes, communities, plans, inventory, appointments, pricing, and the home-building process. 

• Route an inquiry to the appropriate sales counselor or staff member and maintain related customer and sales records. 

• Send promotional email when permitted and honor unsubscribe or suppression choices. 

• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and forms. 

• Measure website use and advertising performance and, where allowed, personalize or evaluate advertising. 

• Protect Long Lake, visitors, and others; prevent fraud or abuse; comply with law; and establish or defend legal claims. 

• Support a business transaction such as a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards. 

How We Disclose Information 

We may disclose personal information for the purposes described above to: 

• Long Lake personnel and sales counselors who need the information to respond to or manage an inquiry. 

• Providers that support website hosting, backups, email delivery, customer records, marketing, analytics, advertising, security, spam prevention, maps, reviews, and technical administration, to the extent they receive information for those services. Some embedded-service or advertising providers may also process information under their own privacy notices. The purposes and choices applicable to cookies and similar technologies are described below. 

• Lenders, title companies, real estate professionals, contractors, or other parties when you request or authorize the connection or when needed for a transaction governed by separate documents. 

• Government authorities, courts, advisers, insurers, or other parties when reasonably necessary for law, safety, security, or legal claims. 

• A buyer, investor, lender, or successor in connection with a proposed or completed business transaction. 

Cookies Analytics and Advertising 

We use cookies and similar technologies for site functions, preferences, measurement, security, maps, and advertising. Cookiebot provides information about these technologies and manages available choices. Technologies needed for site operation or security are distinguished from optional technologies in the cookie declaration. Optional technologies operate according to your selection and applicable regional rules. 

You can use the Cookie Settings or Your Privacy Choices link displayed on the website to review or change available choices. Browser controls may also limit cookies, but they may not control every form of browser storage or downstream use. 

Where applicable law requires an opt-out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, you can exercise that choice through Your Privacy Choices. Where required, we honor a recognized Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out for the browser or device sending it. An opt-out does not necessarily stop all processing, including processing needed to provide or protect the website. 

Do Not Track and Cross Site Collection 

 

Email Marketing 

Submitting a home inquiry allows us to respond to that request. We ask separately if you want ongoing promotional email, unless you are using a form clearly identified as a newsletter subscription. Choosing not to subscribe does not prevent a response to your inquiry. Promotional messages include an unsubscribe method. We may retain limited suppression information to honor an unsubscribe, and a later inquiry does not by itself renew a marketing subscription. 

Retention 

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, considering the record type, ongoing inquiries or customer relationships, legal obligations, dispute resolution, security needs, and your choices. Different retention criteria apply to website entries, email and delivery logs, customer and sales records, marketing and consent records, and backups. Deleting a website entry does not automatically delete copies held in other systems. We delete or anonymize records when their approved retention period ends, subject to legal holds and backup expiry cycles. Limited consent, request-response, and unsubscribe records may be retained to demonstrate and honor your choices. 

Security 

Long Lake uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Do not send sensitive financial or identity information through a general website form. 

Your Privacy Choices and Rights 

Depending on where you live and whether the applicable law covers Long Lake, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; obtain a portable copy; opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; and appeal a denied request. You may also withdraw available cookie choices and unsubscribe from promotional email.

Children 

The website is directed to adults interested in homes and related services. Long Lake does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information may contact Long Lake using the methods below. 

Third Party Sites and Services 

The website may link to lenders, map services, social platforms, real estate resources, or other third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. 

Changes to This Policy 

Long Lake may update this policy as its practices or legal obligations change. We post the revised policy with its effective date on this page. For material changes, we also post a prominent notice on the website. Where law requires additional notice or a choice, including for information already collected, we provide that notice or choice before the change takes effect as required.
